Americains

Before I left the US, all I heard was how Parisians were rude and hated Americans. Now that I am here, I understand why that is the stereotype and I would hate Americans too!!!! Americans are so loud. Always loud. Always in people's way. Always touch everything in stores and talk so loud. Running into people with their maps. Loud on the subway. I'm sitting in the courtyard of the university right now and 4 Americans on the bench across from me are the loudest of all the people here. Last night during dinner, a boat tour passed the apartment and we could hear a bunch of people cheering, and my host dad sighed. "Americains."
