So I have been sad and sick for the last couple of days. I couldn't go to class all last week and the program said I can't go back until the doctor says that I'm ok. And my next doctor's appointment is on Wednesday. I am feeling a lot better now though and really want to go back because I am alone most of the day and I am here to learn French!! I don't think I have ever begged to go to class... I don't want to completely waste my time in this beautiful city by staying inside all the time. I get tired really easily still and my joints ache, but I have not had a fever or pounding pounding headache for a few days. Yesterday was the first day that I have had enough energy to wander around and I had fun doing the same thing today, but in a different part of Paris.

These little green boxes line the sidewalks by the Seine. They are opened during the day and most are filled with books and posters and pictures to be sold. There are lots of these, and I have walked past them many times and every time the stuff being sold is different. Kind of like a thrift store. So I love them.
